and England, Co-Founder & Vice-President met to discuss an idea of sisterhood empowerment and civic contributions to the community. With an excellent professional and personal relationship for over 7 years, they accepted the challenge and together they formed the "DREAM Social & Civic Club." The two co-workers and friends began to put their thoughts together and found like-minded women they felt held the same personal & professional goals in life that would strengthen the success of DSCC; K. Porter, Cheryl Guilford, and Kimberly Dozier. Each of these ladies had her own unique flair, skills, education and life experiences that they brought to the club. DSCC Founders and Charter members worked extremely hard during the Fall of 2012 to become well organized and operating as a truly efficient and successful Social and Civic Club. The Founders and Carter members subsequently assembled a group of women in the community who wished to love the ideas and beliefs of DREAM Social & Civic Club. DSCC inducted our first class of DREAMERS on March 16, 2013. The second class was inducted on August 17, 2013. The third class was inducted on March 2, 2014. The fourth class was inducted on June 2, 2015. In 2015. DSCC obtained its 501C3 status in 2015.
